How to connect
TubeGrade is a remote MCP server, so any client that supports custom connectors can use it. Here are the three most common.
Claude
- 1Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app) and go to Customize → Connectors.
- 2Click “+ Add”, then “Add custom connector”.
- 3Name it TubeGrade, paste the server URL above and click Continue.
- 4Click Add, then Connect — sign in with your TubeGrade account to authorize.
- 5The TubeGrade tools now appear in chat. Ask things like “find outliers for this channel”.
ChatGPT
- 1In ChatGPT, open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins). Your account or workspace must allow custom MCP servers.
- 2Click “+”, then “Add custom MCP server”, and name it TubeGrade.
- 3Under Connection, paste the server URL above, then choose “Create as a plugin”.
- 4Authorize with your TubeGrade account when the sign-in window opens.
- 5Turn TubeGrade on from the composer’s tools menu to use it in a chat.
Cursor & other clients
- 1Open your client’s MCP config (e.g. Cursor’s mcp.json, VS Code, or any MCP-capable app).
- 2Add the TubeGrade server using the JSON below.
- 3Reload the client — it will prompt you to sign in with your TubeGrade account.
- 4The TubeGrade tools become available to the model.
